Venice of the North
04/2020 In March 2020 we were with the AIDA Aura in the Norwegian city of Trondheim. What is special in this city are the colorful old trading houses along the water channels. You could almost call it the Venice of the North. We did a tour from the port to the old town. From the famous Old Town Bridge, the Gamle Bybro, we went to the Nidaros Cathedral and then on to the Stiftsgarden. From there then back to the main train station and back to the port. We had no luck with the sun, but it was windless and the water in the canals was as smooth as a mirror.
