05/2019 After our tour of the old town of Birkat al Mouz, we drove our four-wheel drive vehicle up a small hill with a transmission tower a little away from the city center. From up there you had a great view of the surrounding area and the green valley in which Birkat Al Mouz is located. The palm trees stretch through the valley like a green carpet, framed by barren brown-red rocks.
