05/2021 Ras Al Jinz Turtle Reserve in Oman offers the rare opportunity to see large sea turtles laying their eggs. The turtles come to the beach at night and lay their eggs. With a bit of luck you can still find turtles in the morning that are not yet back in the water.

We were lucky enough to see this turtle finish laying her eggs. Shortly before sunrise she is then still quickly in the water and up and away. The beach can only be visited with guides who will make sure you don't accidentally step over one of the nests hidden in the sand.
