Highway 17 in Oman

Between mountains

05/2021 On our way to Muscat we drove the highway 17. The photo shows the landscape along the highway near Habubiyah. Exactly where that was cannot be found out. In any case, the mountains there are very interesting because they consist of nothing but thin layers of stone that protrude obliquely from the ground. Traffic jams aren't a problem here either, the road is perfectly dimensioned with the two lanes.
