Stacked stone layers

05/2021 The mountains along Highway 17 in northern Oman are interesting to look at. We drove to a small parking lot to take a few photos of the area. The mountains and hills appear to be made of fine layers of rock that jut out of the ground at an angle. I can't find out exactly where the photo was taken afterwards, it must have been near Habubiyah.
