Generator in the Fabrica da Cidade

06/2022 This old generator dates back to 1904 and produced hydroelectric power until 1974. Today it is rusting away in the Fabrica da Cidade. The former power plant is a really great lost place in the Azores or on the island of Sao Miguel. The hike there is not very long, more of a walk. More in our travel video, see link below.
