12/2017 This photo was taken in the square in front of the Igreja Matriz de Nossa Senhora da Estrela church in Ribeira Grande. At the bottom of the square stands the monument to Gaspar Frutuoso, a clergyman and humanist from the Azores. The tower in the picture (centre left) belongs to the Ribeira Grande Town Hall.
