Small island with a hole near Vila Franca do Campo

Island with crater

05/2022 This small island is located a few hundred meters off the coast of the small town of Vila Franca do Campo in the south of Sao Miguel. The island has a huge crater in the middle and looks like a volcano just sticking out of the water. You can even take a boat into the crater. The water there is probably much calmer than in the Atlantic that surrounds the island. More in my travel video, see link below.
