highlights at La Gomera Spain
La Gomera has much to offer, especially the county site is beautiful. The special highlight is the laurel forest in the middle of the island. Definitely worth a hike through the enchanted forests.

Mountain landscape with Roque de Agando
03/2018 On the drive through the mountains of La Gomera you can see many beautiful views. A very nice sight is the view of the Roque de Agando. The rock is like a cone in the mountain landscape.
Hike through the laurel forest
The special highlight on La Gomera is the laurel forest. This unique ecosystem is already impressive from the car. Even more beautiful is a hike through the impressive landscape. We hiked from El Patadero\\\'s car park to a campsite (De la Vista) near El Cedro. This is a well signposted trail of about 8 km.
Something special: Mirador de Abrante
An interesting vantage point is the Mirador de Abrante. A footbridge with glass bottom and glass walls juts out over the gorge. Down in the valley by the sea is the village of Agulo. There is also a small café to have a rest.
Agulo: Nice village with small streets
The village of Agulo is located on the north coast of La Gomara. The highlight is the church Iglesia de San Marcos Evangelista with its white domes. Otherwise, you can stroll through narrow streets in Agulo and explore the village.
