11/2022 El Paso, a town on the Spanish island of La Palma. This aerial photo shows the town with its scattered houses on the mountainside. Behind it is the volcano (Tajogaite volcano) that erupted in autumn 2021, spewing lava well into winter and leaving a great trail of devastation on the west side of La Palma. In the cool morning air, you could still see the volcano smoking. I took the photo with my drone. Unfortunately, the area around the volcano was a restricted zone. That's why I didn't fly very close to the lava fields.
