11/2022 This photo shows the Plaza de Espana, a beautiful square in the heart of the old town of Santa Cruz, the capital of La Palma. The square is asymmetrical and is framed by beautiful 18th century houses, such as the Iglesia de El Salvador church and the El Ayuntamiento town hall. At Christmas time, the fence to the shopping street Calle O'Daly is decorated with beautifully decorated round arches.
