Highlights on the northwest coast of Ibiza

06/2016 On this trip we drove northwest from Playa d'en Bossa. Our first destination was the beautiful bathing bay at Cala d Hort. From there you can see the rocky islands of Es Vedr off the coast of Ibiza in the turquoise blue water. A narrow road leads to the bathing bay, at the end of which there is a small roundabout. There are hardly any parking spaces here. So it is better to park up on the mountain at the lookout point.

The next stop was Cala Vedella with its beautiful beach and cozy beach bars. We stayed here a little longer before driving on to St Antoni de Portmany in the afternoon. There, near the harbor, is the famous Cafe Del Mar on a waterfront promenade. It is worth enjoying a good cocktail with a view of the water. We went to Platja de Comte for sunset. Our actual destination was the Sunset Ashram. However, it is very popular and was overcrowded, so we went to another restaurant a few meters away. The food there was very good and the service very friendly.
