Old clock in Arcos de la Frontera

Here time stands still

02/2013 On a trip to Arcos de la Frontera in Spain, I photographed this clock on the old church tower of the Iglesia de Santa María. In this small town in the Cadiz region, time seems to stand still in many corners. The photo was taken through the branches of a bitter orange tree. In Arcos de la Frontera, there are small bitter orange trees all along the streets. You can't really eat the fruit, as they are bitter oranges, better known as bitter oranges.
