Fantastic room with it´s own roof terrace
07/2016 Our room (no 1212) is located on the second floor of the building next to the main building of the Vanity Suite & Spa. Next to the stairs there is also an elevator that takes you up. Our room is huge! To the right is the semi-open bathroom with two sinks, behind it is the room with shower, bathtub and WC. The main bedroom has a large bed, a sofa and a table with a TV. Safe, minibar and a Senseo machine are also available. Next to the balcony are the staircase leads up to the roof terrace. Upstairs on the roof terrace there is a sofa, a huge lounge, a table with chairs and a private hot tub. From the terrace you have a fantastic view of the hotel complex of the Vanity Suite & Spa with the main pool and the mountains behind.
Good food and nice ambience
The restaurant of the Hotel Vanity Suite & Spa is located in the main building on the first floor on the lobby level. In the restaurant there are a lot of places in the air-conditioned interior, but also enough tables on the balcony with a view over the pool. Only in the evening hours for dinner you have to wait for an outdoor table. In the morning and in the evening there is a big buffet. For dinner they have alternating themes such as fish, meat or dessert. The food is very good and the selection is adequate.
A few meters from the beach of Cala Mesquida
The Hotel Vanity Suite & Spa is located at Cala Mesquida. The majority of the village consists of the hotels of the Viva Group. In addition to the Vanity Suite & Spa, there are other hotels for families with children. From the hotel to the beach it is only a three minute walk. There is a nice beach and clear blue water. Umbrellas and beach chairs can be rented on the beach. Alternatively you can also walk to Cala Ratjada that is nearby. Other places of interest nearby are Capdepera with its great fortress or Arta town as well as the nearby excavation of a village from the Bronze Age in Ses Paisses. Also worthwhile are excursions to Alcudia, Cap Formentor or Pollenca.
Fast W-Lan and much more
The hotel has a spa with an indoor pool and spa treatments. Sports activities such as Pilates, pétanque or shooting are also available. There is also a putting green on the grounds. If you want to travel by bus to neighboring cities, you will find the bus stop directly in front of the hotel. In the hotel there is also free and fast W-Lan everywhere. In the evening there are shows by artists and musicians.
Conclusion: very nice and quiet adults-only-hotel
We loved the hotel of the Viva Group. The room was perfect, the food in the restaurant varied and was very delicious. The nicest thing about the adults-only-hotel is the incredible peace and of course our great roof terrace with its own pool.
