Large well-kept room
12/2012 The room is large and well maintained. We have a balcony overlooking a side street with partial sea view. The bathroom is also ok. You can see at some points, that everything is a bit older.
Good breakfast
Breakfast is on the ground floor overlooking the beach. The selection is very large and the food is of high quality. There was really nothing to complain about except for the coffee, which could be better.
Located directly on the beach promenade
The hotel is located right on the seafront promenade in the Santa Catalina district. You can walk out of the lobby directly onto the busy pedestrian street. Also easy to reach is the bus station, where buses leave for the old town. In addition, you can walk to the harbor in a few minutes, which was very important to us, so we did not need a taxi to the ship.
Large pool on the roof
On the roof of the hotel there is a large pool with many beach chairs. From the roof you have a good view of the city and the waterfront. There is also a gym with good equipment. We especially liked the spa. Everything is there that you need to relax. A sauna, a steam bath, a swimming pool with blubber loungers and a saltwater grotto. Everything was perfect.
Conclusion: Nice hotel in the center of Las Palmas
For a longer vacation I would certainly book another hotel. But if you want to spend a few days in the capital Las Palmas, you can definitely book this hotel. We booked the hotel for one night until the start of our AIDA Canary cruise from Las Palmas.
