Lake Thun Switzerland from Interlaken to Thun and back

Beautiful trip in Switzerland

05/2021 In May 2021 we did an excursion on Lake Thun in Switzerland and took the boat from Interlaken West to Thun. There is a lot to see on the two hour trip. For example the St. Beatus caves or Oberhofen Castle, just to name two of the many highlights.

After a walk through the old town of Thun, we went back to Interlaken West from Thun train station. The whole cost about 60 CHF per person. If you check out information online, you shouldn't be fooled by the prices, which are given there as standard with a half-fare discount. But you would have to buy a special discount card for this, which is not worth it for a one-time trip.
