The Wat Pho temple is less crowded than the Grand Palace and is therefore a good excursion tip for those who prefer to see something without being crowded. The special feature in Wat Pho is a huge golden Buddha. The Buddha is unusual because he is depicted lying down. Reclining Buddhas are quite rare. The typical pose is sitting down.
