A nice hotel in the middle of nature, this is Driftwood Lodge in Springdale. Absolute peace, a breathtaking panoramic view, beautiful rooms and a pool to relax.

Cozy and spacious rooms
04/2015 The large double room with two comfortable beds left nothing to be desired. We also had a room at the back of the lodge and therefore absolute peace. You could sit in the sun on a small veranda in front of the room. The parking for the car was right outside the room, so you could easily bring all suitcases into the room. The bathroom was a bit small, but still offered every comfort and was clean.
Only bed and breakfast in the hotel
Only Bed & Breakfast was offered at the Driftwood Lodge, but at the hotel reception we received many tips for dinner. Springdale is bigger than it seems at first sight and we took the car to drive to a pizzeria. The selection of restaurants in Springdale is not lush, but you will definitely find something.
The breakfast in the lodge was very good and rich. You sit very comfortable in a room with large windows and we could watch the horses in the paddock. The buffet was varied, even if there were only a few hot dishes.
Top location at the entrance to Zion National Park
The location of the lodge is great, it is set back from the main road and therefore very quiet. However, you are still in the heart of Springdale and only a few minutes drive away from the entrance of Zion National Park. The hotel complex of the Driftwood Lodge itself consists of the main house with some rooms, the restaurant and the reception and two other buildings with a maximum of two floors. The complex looks well maintained and has a beautiful garden.
Nice pool for relax
We liked the enjoy th pool of the hotel during the nice sunny weather. In the room there are large pool towels and we only had to walk a few steps across the meadow to the swimming area. There are enough pool chairs and next to the larger pool also a jacuzzi. It had the perfect temperature and we could relax. The view from the deck chair on the red mountains of the Zion National Park is terrific, as you can see in this photo (left).
Driftwood Lodge in Springdale - highly recommended
We definitely recommend the Driftwood Lodge for a stay near the Zion National Park. We really enjoyed our stay and it was a pity we did not stay two nights in Springdale.
