Medieval Kolossi Castle in Cyprus

Fortress with a long history

01/2022 Kolossi Castle is a small 13th-century fortress. However, it only reached its current form in the 15th century. In the past, sweet wine was pressed here and sugar cane was processed. A separate sugar mill is part of the facility. The highlight is the large tower-shaped building with several floors and large and small rooms. There is a beautiful view of the surroundings from the roof. More about the castle in my travel video, see link below.
