11/2009 Summer in Germany was almost non-existent in 2009. That's why we decided to make up for the sun we had missed. We chose the Radisson Blue in El Quseir as our holiday hotel. The four-star hotel was well-kept, had good food and a classy clientele. There was a beautiful reef in front of the hotel beach, but we could only explore it from the shore because of the waves. A trip to Luxor was of course a must. There we visited the Karnak Temple, the Valley of the Kings and the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut. There were also two boat trips on the Nile and a carriage ride through the old town of Luxor. All in all, a very nice and relaxing holiday!
