Heidenheim: Castle and old town
On our way to South Tyrol, we stopped in Heidenheim to see the castle and the old town. It's a pretty little town with the romantic castle Hellenstein and a great view.

Walk through the old town and to Hellenstein castle
09/2020 Heidenheim is a pretty little town with a beautiful old town, but it is very small and only includes the main pedestrian zone and a side street - so you quickly see everything. Therefore, it is definitely worth going to Hellenstein castle, which is located above the town. It has several buildings from different eras and also a museum. The view of the town and the surrounding villages and countryside from the top is particularly beautiful.
