09/2020 The Zugspitze has been accessible by a state-of-the-art cable car since December 2017. In a few minutes you can drive to Germanys highest mountain at 2962m. The prices for it are high. For adults, a return trip costs around € 60 per person. When the weather is nice, the view from the summit of the Zugspitze is breathtaking. If you are brave, you can dare the short via ferrata to the summit cross, but you should be sure of heights and a head for heights. Otherwise, the visitor platform offers a magnificent view on both the German and the Austrian side.
