Dome on the Reichstag Berlin
08/2008 This black and white photo shows the interior of the Reichstag dome in Berlin. The Reichstag is right next to the Chancellery in Berlin. During the last renovation in the 90s, Norman Foster gave the building a glass dome in which you can walk up and down in a spiral through a sophisticated system of paths. Anyone who has ever visited this building will be amazed by the architecture. The building, originally designed by Paul Wallot and his partner Friedrich von Thiersch in 1884, has been rebuilt and rebuilt several times over the years and has served as the seat of the German Bundestag since 1999.
