07/2015 Two years ago, we planted an apple tree in our garden. The tree was a gift from our former neighbors. Not only because of this the tree got a place of honor in the garden. In the first year there were no apples, not even a flower could be seen. But this year even more. The apple tree was covered with blossoms in spring and now so many apples hanging on the branches that they break under the sheer load. The picture shows one of the apples after the morning tour with the garden hose. The green apple from the Pink Lady variety is about the size of a tennis ball.
