Carousel at the Heinerfest in Darmstadt

07/2024 The carousel at the Heinerfest is not only a popular ride, but also a popular photo subject. I took the photo on the last day of the Heinerfest 2024. It was not easy to catch a moment when no people were walking inappropriately through the picture. I like this photo best from my series of shots. It shows how young and old alike enjoy the ride. Incidentally, the Heinerfest was founded after the war in 1951 as a sign of hope and new beginnings for the Darmstadt population.
