07/2012 In 2010 Heppenheim changed to Vettelheim. The world champion Sebastian Vettel rushed with his Formula 1 racecar through his hometown and thousands of visitors came to the little village at the Hessische Bergstraße. After some technical problems Sebastian Vettel gave a spectacular show and left some thick black rubber rings on the main intersection in Heppenheim. The noise of a Formula 1 car and the smell of burning rubber gave the event its special touch. Welcome to Vettelheim!
