Room with modern equipment
12/2012 The rooms are great! Everything is very new. The equipment is modern and has a high quality. Only at the bathroom you can see that it is a hotel of the Accor group. The bathtub and shower are a combination plastic elements, as known from the Novotels, or Ibis Hotels.
Expensive breakfast
We did not eat in this hotel. Unfortunately, the breakfast was not included in our offer. The surcharge per person for breakfast would have been 25 euros. That's too much. On the way to the train station there was a great bakery with breakfast room. Here you could have a breakfast menu with two fresh rolls, cold meats, jam, honey and a coffee for 4.90 euros. That's unbeatable!
Located directly at the main station
The location of the hotel is in the immediate vicinity of the train station of Dusiburger Hbf. You can reach the hotel in just three minutes. However, the direct path leads through a shopping arcade. When we first went there, we had to surch for the entrance to the hotel. The shopping arcade, in which the hotel is integrated, is located directly on the pedestrian precinct. The evening stroll over the Duisburg Christmas market was very close. The shopping arcade has a large parking garage. Those arriving by car can park right next to the hotel.
