Hverfjall volcanic crater

Huge crater

02/2021 Hverfjall is an extinct volcano in northern Iceland. You can walk up the volcano and hike around it at the top of the crater rim. Those planning to do this should not underestimate the cold wind on the volcano and the distance. The crater is huge, you could probably sink several football stadiums in it.
