Hraunfossar up close

04/2021 This photo of Hraunfossar was taken from the riverbank below. For this I went down a small dirt track at the other end of the parking lot to the river and walked a little further to the waterfall. But it was worth it for the photo. From this position the waterfall looks a bit bigger than from above. The special feature of the Hraunfossar waterfall is that the water comes out of many openings in the porous lava rock.
