04/2021 In Iceland you can find some waterfalls surrounded by 5-8-cornered stone pillars. Such is the case with Kerlingarfoss waterfall in Snaefellsj kull National Park in western Iceland. The stone pillars are formed when lava cools rapidly. Definitely a beautiful waterfall, worth a short stop.
