06/2014 The Palatino is one of the seven hills of Rome and the place where the city startet to grow. This photo is showing the view from the archeological excavation area to the city of rome with the Monumento Vittorio Emanuele behind the brown colored church. The excavation area is very spacious and well groomed. The Palatino Ticket can be combined with the entry to the Colosseum.
