Trip to Grödner Joch
On our onward journey, we first made a stop in the mountains around Wengen and then drove on to the Grödner Joch. There we had a nice hike along the mountain slopes.

Hike at Grödner Joch
04/2021 Our first stop was near Wengen, where very beautiful old mountain villages lie in an idyllic landscape. Unfortunately it was very cloudy and we could not see the higher mountain peaks. Therefore we went straight on to the Grödner Joch, where we had planned a hike along the mountain slopes. There we took the Frara cable car up to the Jimmi Hut. It is important to note that the Frara cable car starts further down in the valley than it is marked on Google Maps. From the Jimmi Hut you already have a magnificent view of the mountains, but the circular route to Dantecepies Mountain Lodge is definitely worth it. And a stop at Jimmi's hut is also an absolute MUST.
