03/2023 The history of the city of Petra in Jordan is impressive. The size of the complex, which flourished more than 2,000 years ago, is also astonishing. The Great Temple is located on one of the main axes along which tourists walk through the valley. I liked the view through the corridor with the old walls and the remains of a fallen column, which look almost like millstones. In the background you can see the striking mountains that surround the gorge.
