Pelican in flight

04/2013 On our trip in Mexico, we saw pelicans and flamingos on a boat tour in a nature reserve near Hunucma. Pelicans usually nest in the mangrove forests close to the water. Pelicans usually sit together in large groups on a tree. You can also see the large pelicans flying in beautiful arrow-shaped formations in the sky. I photographed this pelican individually as it sails past in the blue sky.
