11/2015 Ouarzazate is a small town in the Atlas Mountains of Morocco. The town itself has a beautifully maintained old Kasbah that you can see for a few euros. A visit to the Atlas film studios, which are located just outside the city of Ouarzazate, is at least as exciting. Some well-known films such as Gladiator, Asterix and The Pope have been filmed here. A tour of the film studios in Ouarzazate, the Hollywood of Morocco, is worth it.
