06/2012 The picture shows Strandsv gen, the waterfront promenade in Stockholm. Literally translated, Strandsv gen simply means beach path. The beautiful old houses with the artistic roofs with round and square towers are located directly on the harbor. Only a two-lane road with a small green strip in the middle separates the residents from the water. Not visible in the picture is the bridge to the Djurgarden peninsula, which is to the right of the picture.
