08/2011 On our journey through the mountains of Tibet we passed through a small village on the holy lake Yamdrok Tso. During the photo stop a Tibetan woman came up to the bus with her child on her back. The brick-like stones in the background are pressed cow dung. These are collected in the summer to have something to heat in the winter. In some cases the fuel supplies are lined up like a wall around the entire property.
