Equestrian statue with L we at the Altes Museum Berlin

04/2016 The statue of a rider with a spear was placed in 1861 on the left side of the entrance stairs to the Altes Museum in Berlin. The rider with the spear or lance is by Albert Wolff based on a design by Christian Daniel Rauch. The statue is called the Lion Fighter . On the right side of the entrance stairs there is also a statue showing an Amazon with a spear.
