Take a deep breath

08/2013 Lavender not only smells good, it also looks great. The crisp purple flowers that can be found in whole bushes are quite impressive. The close-up was taken in the Cologne park next to the Rhine terraces. There is a kind of miniature botanical garden there. Lavender is mainly used to make scented oils. If you like the smell, you can also just put a few flower branches in a cloth bag and put/hang it in the wardrobe, for example.
