Review of our overnight stay at the Viking Lodges, south of Mosfellsbaer

Living room
06/2021 The Viking Lodges are small wooden houses with a spacious living/dining area. We spent our evenings on site on the comfortable sofa. Unfortunately, the TV was very small and was mounted very high on the wall above the door to the bedroom. Also, you could only watch Icelandic channels. There was no wifi here either, but we knew that beforehand.
Kitchen
The kitchen actually had everything you needed for breakfast/dinner. Previous guests had also left some non-perishable items such as tea/coffee. The kitchen is an open living/dining area.
Bathroom / bedroom
There were two separate rooms as bedrooms. Unfortunately, the bedrooms were equipped with bunk beds. The mattress seemed a bit short (for my height of 188 cm). The bathroom is a relatively small room with a shower, toilet and sink.
Location
The Viking Lodges are just outside Mosfellsbaer. You won't find a proper address in the navigation system, so it's advisable to go there using geo coordinates (64.10550000035212, -21.653957156898976). There are several houses on the property, grouped in a semicircle around a small lake.
Particularities
The home features a large porch, a gas grill and a hot tub outside. The latter can be set to the desired temperature and offers various jets for massage. A real highlight to relax here in the warm water!
