Lunar landscape

02/2021 The landscape in the volcanic area of Hverir near Myvatn looks like a lunar landscape. There are pots of boiling mud or mounds of dirt everywhere, giving off fetid sulphurous gases. Taking a walk here is a special experience, but you should also be careful. The mud holes are 80-100 degrees and you shouldn't stumble into them! More in the travel video, see link below.
