03/2023 Petra at night is a very special experience. If you walk from the main entrance through the Siq (narrow gorge) to the Treasury, you will walk along a seemingly endless row of small paper bags with candles. At the end of the gorge is Petra's Treasury. In front of the temple there are also countless candles that bathe the temple in a warm light. The photo shows the view from the gorge (Siq) to the Treasury.
