Ponte Romana and Tavira

10/2022 Of all the towns we visited on the Algarve coast, I found Tavira the most beautiful. The city had a great atmosphere thanks to the river and the historic Ponte Romana. There are also some cafes and restaurants along the river. If you want to see the highlights of the city, the best option is to walk from the Ponte Romana on the river through the old town up to the old fortress.
