06/2022 The church and pilgrimage site of Bom Jesus do Monte, near the city of Braga in Portugal, is an impressive combination of architecture and spirituality. The most striking feature is the baroque staircase, which winds up the hill over 600 steps and leads to the imposing basilica. This pilgrimage site not only attracts pilgrims, but also impresses with its impressive location and religious symbolism.
