Impressive church from the inside

06/2022 Porto, the picturesque city on the banks of the Douro River, is home to a variety of historical treasures, including the impressive Igreja dos Clrigos. This architectural masterpiece, built in the 18th century, is not only a major landmark but also a fascinating example of Baroque architecture.

The Igreja dos Cl rigos, also known as the Church of the Clerics, was built by Designed by the Italian architect Nicolau Nasoni and completed in 1750.

When you enter the church you will be overwhelmed by the magnificent interior. The richly decorated old, opulent paintings and detailed sculptures bear witness to the artistic craftsmanship of past centuries. A particularly impressive element is the organ, which is considered one of the most beautiful in Europe and is regularly used for concerts.
