08/2011 Norbulinka is a large park in Lhasa. This was the summer residence of the Dalai Lama until he had to flee in 1959. The complex is surrounded by a large wall. This dancer performs in front of the entrance gate. As a tourist, however, you walk a few meters further into the complex through a side entrance. A visit is definitely worth it. The house of the last 14th Dalai Lama is still furnished as he left it. Even the clock in the main entrance hall shows the exact time of his disappearance.
