Breuberg Castle in the Odenwald

06/2020 Unfortunately, Breuberg Castle is currently closed due to renovation work. Nevertheless, you can walk around the wall of the moat. If you have a drone, you can capture this view of the castle if you start on the western side. I had the afternoon sun behind me and I also saw beautiful pictures online with the rising sun in the background. The castle dates back to the 12th century. The castle was renovated again in 1858 and has been a youth hostel since 1919.
