Transport boat for port wine
06/2022 Some of these small old wooden ships float on the Douro along the Cais da Ribeira de Gaia. In the past, the wine was transported from the Douro Valley to Porto or Vila Nova de Gaia. Today they are just a fond memory and are used in a similar way for tours for tourists. These beautiful boats float in front of the old town of Porto on the other side of the river.
